지난 8월, 17일간 콜롬비아에서 머물며 찾은 다양한 커피들 중 가장 맛있고 의미있는 커피를 선정하여 콜롬비아Top10을 구성하였습니다.

저희가 다녀온 콜롬비아의 남부지역에는 평균 2-3헥타르 정도의 소규모 농장들이 많습니다. 작은 규모의 농장이니 스페셜티커피 생산에 유리한 조건을 갖추고 있는 것 처럼 보이지만 그들에게는 ‘커피 생산지 중 커피농장주들의 평균연령이 가장 높다’ 라는 보이지 않는 문제를 가지고 있습니다. 대부분의 젊은이들은 커피농사로 돈을 벌 수 없다고 생각하여 모두 도시로 떠나버렸고 현재 커피 산업에는 예전부터 오랫동안 커피 농사를 지어 온 분들이 생계를 이어가기 위해 커피산업에 머물고 있는 경우가 많습니다.

저희는 이번 콜롬비아 여행을 통해 스페셜티커피의 지속가능성에 대해 다시 생각해볼 수 있었습니다.

Coffee farms in the southern part of the country we visited are mostly small farms with an average of three hectares.
It seemed to have suitable conditions for producing specialty coffee due to the limited small area to control however there is one big problem with people who actually work in the field. An "aging" issue affect great among this society because of most young people moved to cities in order to make money rather than farming. Only left for old farmers to sustain what they are capable to do so.

In order for us to continue to meet specialty coffee, they must be able to live a life with it. Through our journey to Colombia, we are able to remind ourselves the sustainability of our specialty coffee business.

Giving the right price for farmers and workers of course, our mission is to introduce this worth coffees to our customers in a valuable way, so we would like to introduce it to you now best Colombia's special top 10 coffee collections.
