Description: It’s that time of the year again - with the transfer window closing in just a couple of days’ time, we’re running through our top ten transfers of the window. It’s been a bit of a weird window, but we’ve put the moves in here based on value for money, quality of the player and both the player’s and team’s needs.

We kick the list off with a loan move that should hopefully see Chelsea’s Ethan Ampadu get a bit more gametime, whilst on the continent Nice and Villarreal have got bargains for Amine Gouiri and Dani Parejo respectively. There’s a couple of important moves in the Premier League, including West Brom making Matheus Pereira permanent and Spurs snapping up Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.

Then it’s on to the big ones, all of which seem bargains in their own right. Real Madrid let Achraf Hakimi go to Inter and James Rodriguez join Everton, whilst Chelsea surprised us all with the signing of Timo Werner. Then it’s the top two - Bayern Munich stole Leroy Sane away from Manchester City, whilst Thiago went in the opposite direction, but stopped when he got to Liverpool. Enjoy!
