Let's all give a big thanks to Dan Schneider, the man responsible for creating "iCarly." Without him, actors like Miranda Cosgrove, Jennette McCurdy, Nathan Kress, and Jerry Trainor would never have portrayed some of our favorite Nickelodeon characters of all time. The sitcom revolves around teenagers Carly Shay, Sam Puckett, and Freddie Benson as they struggle to accept their newfound fame. Together, the friends create the web show "iCarly" in the attic of Carly's apartment. And they become an instant hit. So much so, that popular comedians guest-starred as themselves on the web show.

"iCarly" ran for a total of six seasons, and quickly became one of Nickelodeon's most-watched series. Throughout their time on the air, they welcomed many actors who eventually went on to be pretty big deals in the industry. But a few household names also guest-starred along the way.
