10 Cities with the most FOOD STAMP recipients.
Description
I thought we would do a requested video today. I did a video about states with the highest percentage of residents on food stamps back about a month ago. Since that day, I have gotten a butt load of email asking what cities have the most. A majority of those requests were from people that apparently thought I was being biased towards one end of the political spectrum because I ranked 8 of the 10 being Republican-controlled states. The thing is, I didn’t rank them the U.S. Census Bureaus and the Bureau of Labor Statistics. They are the one that gathered all the stats. Not me.
In my opinion, things like this aren’t a Democrat or Republican thing, it’s an American thing. We are all in this together no matter what politicians want you to believe.
15 million households in the United States that are considered food insecure. Almost 45 million Americans rely on some sort of help from a government agency to eat.
Programs like the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program or SNAP are in place so Americans don’t go hungry.
SNAP began as a temporary relief program during the Great Depression and became a permanent fixture in 1964 under President Lyndon Johnson.
So, before you call a real estate agent and get a home loan with a hefty mortgage payment you should watch this video.

I hope you enjoyed today's video. If there is a state, city or town you'd like us to do a video about let us know in the comment section.
If you enjoy these videos I would love to hear about it. These videos are made to help people who are thinking about relocating, looking for real estate, or just wanting to learn about the United States. We look at the best and worst cities, states, towns, and neighborhoods in the United States. But, most of the time focus on the negative side of locations. If you only want some happy positive information about a city, town or state, I would suggest looking up local mortgage and real estate companies or maybe the locations website. They are trying to sell you something so it will be nothing but sunshine and rainbows. They won't tell you about crime, poverty, bail bondsmen, or insurance you'll need because of natural disasters. I will. And I will try and make it entertaining.
