I have been asked many time what is the cheapest city to own a home? Normally I would just say not to look for a cheap house in a major city because if it's cheap it's not the best place to live. Enough people told me they only care about the price and nothing else. So I made that list. Cities you can own a home for under $100,000.
If you buy one of these homes just make sure you know what the mortgage is and what the city may require. And have insurance.
