10 Creepiest Things Discovered In Abandoned Buildings!
Now that the world is slowly getting back to normal, people have started exploring again. I for one am
getting a bit stir crazy so as soon as I’m able to, away I go. However, I will never go about exploring
abandoned buildings anytime soon, especially after making this video.
From fire extinguishers that are possibly from hell to the creepiest birthday party ever, here are 10 of
the creepiest discoveries found in abandoned buildings.

Number 10. A Pentagram of Fire Extinguishers

Hospital-Epsom-Surrey.jpg?ezimgfmt=ng:webp/ngcb1
Now this is just wrong. Walking into an abandoned insane asylum is creepy enough, then you some
across something completely pointless but at the same time, utterly terrifying.
Built in 1923, The West Park Hospital was a psychiatric facility located in Surrey, England. It was one of
five psychiatric hospitals built in the area known as the Epsom Cluster. The hospital eventually became
run down and by 2003 and most of the buildings were closed and the site was abandoned. A man
exploring the area took this eerie photo in the hospital’s attic.
Theories abound as to who actually built the pentagram; from devil worshipers to pagan cults, or even
bored pranksters who had a lot of time on their hands. But who are what do you think could have done
such a thing? Leave your thoughts in the comments.

Number 9. A Demonic Ritual

Exploring with Cody is mainly an urban exploration channel, but as you soon will see, he sometimes
encounters the bizarre and the supernatural. This next clip shows what quite possibly is his most
terrifying discovery to date.
At first, Cody was hesitant to approach the abandoned building, as he sees a light outside unexplainably
turning on and off on its own volition, which is the only light illuminating the dark night. They quickly
found out that they weren’t the only one exploring that night. As they were about to enter the building,
they saw another group of people silently exiting the building.
Although a bit creeped out, Cody’s group decided to proceed. Their exploration was largely uneventful,
that is until they heard a series of high pitched sounds emanating from another room, which they
decided to investigate. To their shock, the noises seemed to come from a number of small circle of lit
candles on the floor of the room. Before they can examine the candles closely, another strange noise
sends them running out of the building.
Did the previous group conduct a ritual that summoned whatever was making those noises? What do
you think?

Number 8. The Merrylin Collection
In 2006, construction workers were bulldozing a place to make way for a new suburban block. All of a
sudden, they came across an old mansion which used to belong to a man named Thomas Theodore
Merrylin. In the old basement, they came across a number of peculiar wooden boxes. Thinking that they
came across something valuable. Like gold or treasure, the workers started to open the boxes one by
one. They weren’t prepared for what they would find.
Inside the boxes were the mummified remains and skeletons of creatures we now call cryptids;
creatures that are thought to be mythological yet to be discovered by science. The boxes contained
skeletons of fairies and dragons, and a few other creatures that were quite difficult to describe.
Since their discovery, the collection has sparked an animated debate between naturalists. While some
truly believe that the find will forever change science, others dismiss it as an elaborate hoax. But to me,
the bigger mystery is what were those boxes doing in the basement? And what kind of person is
Merrylin to have such a collection?

Number 7. Staring Right Back At You
https://youtu.be/UrL7WIT3M3k
YouTuber Alien6467 captured this footage at an abandoned house in Southwood, New York back in
2013. The group was just driving along an empty road when they spot a derelict house and decide to do
a bit of exploring.
The house was empty and its inside walls were covered in graffiti. In one of the larger rooms, the word
“vengeance” was written above the fireplace. Even creepier, they saw that the wall was covered with
plastic bags, and in each one of the bags was a solitary coin. One of the members searched a hole in the
floor and found even more bags.
