Knockoffs have been around since the dawn of time. If you’ve ever shopped on wish.com, you’ve probably tried or at least seen some knockoff products; in fact, shoes and electronics are typically popular knockoff items. Funny story, but my dad actually bought 3 different AirPods clones to test against my real ones. Some of them were laughable and barely worked, but as you got to the $70 price tag, they started looking just like the real deal from afar. Once you open them, you find that things are not quite right, they don't have the same weight or feel, the lid doesn’t snap shut properly; but to the untrained eye they seem like the real deal. When it comes to videogames, it’s the same story. From downloading ROMs and emulators on your PC to buying full fledged fake consoles, you can find it all. In this video we’re going to take a look at some of the most egregious fakes you can find that still actually work. Join us on this journey of counterfeit gaming consoles of all shapes and sizes, well… the same shapes and sizes we’ve all seen before.
