They say “home is where the heart is,” and when you have a lot of money...that place can pretty much be anywhere in the world. Rich people can afford any house they want. Game rooms, ridiculously large pools, candy walls...you name it. When you have a lot of money, you can have any extravagant feature in your house. But there are some houses in the world that have some of these amazing features and still, they don’t get sold! And it’s not like they’re that expensive. I mean, there are people in the world who have enough money to buy some of these places. In fact, you don’t have to be a millionaire to afford any of these homes. But there must be something that keeps people from buying these places. Today we’ll be looking at “10 Mansions that No One Wants to buy.” Whether it’s because they’re in a sketchy neighborhood, a curse, or simply bad luck, these homes haven’t managed to get sold. Imagine you move into your dream home, only to find out that you’re constantly being watched. That doesn’t sound like the most welcoming gesture. Especially if you paid a very high price for your house. But this is what happened to the people who are now owners of this house in New Jersey. As soon as they purchased their home in 2014, they started to get letters from a mysterious entity, stating that the house was under constant surveillance. Apparently, the responsibility to watch this house has been passed down across multiple generations, since the 1920s. And these letters are anything but encouraging. In fact, they’re quite creepy. One of them even asks the new owners if they want their house to be filled with young blood. That definitely sounds like the scenario of a very twisted horror film; one that I would hate to be a part of. Today, the house is again on the market. It was bought for only 1.4 million dollars, but I’m sure the owners will be open to lower the price as long as you are okay with receiving some unwanted creepy letters.

Many people dream of living in a Victorian-era house. And this dream became a reality for a very successful couple, who had money to buy this house. But things ended quite harshly for them as the husband ended his wife’s life when he found out that she was ready to leave him. The event was quite devastating and horrific, but the man served his time in prison. He claimed that he had mental health problems that made him do what he did. The house was then put in the market, and of course, the real estate agents did not want to mention the awful things that happened in this place. I mean, the woman died in the master bedroom! I can’t imagine anyone wanting to buy this house after knowing this information. We gotta admit, the house is beautiful; it has a lot of space and it still holds the looks of its Victorian glory. But it seems like the place will work better as a museum than as a living space.

Inside, you can find all sorts of fancy furniture, a very efficient kitchen, and a lot of rooms with amazing views of the lake. Recently, the property was listed at 20 million dollars, which is about 50% lower than its original price. Granot Loma was even listed in the National Register of Historial Places in 1991, but none of these features make anyone interested in buying it. Perhaps it’s the fact that the place is a bit remote and is quite old. It was built about 100 years ago. It seems like people prefer their traditional small cabins in more populated areas than a large and old log cabin in the middle of nowhere.
