Many hands make light-work, no wonder the heroes are so bogged down. Not something you often think about when considering the catalogue of Marvel moments from over the years. So, a weird prompt right? But, it’s more common than you think. Heroes get hurt. Heroes lose things. Together, heroes lose limbs. Plus the added homage to the Star Wars saga done in Phase 2. A missing hand in every film. Sometimes two, if we’re lucky. It’s not the easiest thing to recall right off the bat. Maybe you can remember who has lost the limbs, but when? Why? How? Always good to have a refresher. So why not dig into some of our favourites. Their history, the incidents that led to their lack of spare hands. Plus, the fancy new replacements they may receive. Why not have your new hand be a multitool or a powerful weapon afterwards? In a world of meta-humans, any kind of upgrade has to be a good help. Whether accidental or on purpose, such an injury is a real game-changer. You don’t realize how much you use your hands til you can’t use them anymore. But enough preamble let’s get into it.
