The MCU is full of incredibly powerful heroes. There are gods, mechanized warriors, super soldiers and beings capable of manipulating reality itself. The Avengers leave such a long shadow that it’s easy for other characters to get lost behind them. It’s a shame because plenty of those characters are powerful enough to justify their own franchises. Ones who, if it weren’t for the Avengers, would probably be prime for all that summer blockbuster money. Well, it looks like their time is finally coming.

The Disney+ MCU shows are promising to shine the spotlight on the MCU’s finest unappreciated talent. Some of these heroes are best friends of the big Avengers who have been relegated to sidekick duty despite the fact that they have bonafide hero credentials. Then there are the tag teams of heroes who may not be A-list on their own but certainly are when paired together. We’ve also got heroes who have incredibly epic pasts that the franchise has barely touched on. Pasts that would make for shows so metal that they might melt the Disney+ streaming service itself.

There are also heroes who used to have all the spotlight they wanted until one mistake soured fans on them for years. Despite a few errors in judgement, there are reasons they were so beloved in the first place. Well, I do believe it’s time for everyone to have a comeback.
