“Sonic the Hedgehog” reallys wants to make sure that fans of the video games are pleased. That’s why Sonic got an entire redesign after fans reacted less-than-enthusiastically to the first trailer. After all the commotion, fans will be happy to know that the film is packed full of fun easter eggs referencing the many Sonic games. The film includes the classic Sonic music, levels and planets like the Mushroom Hill Zone, and hidden references to Sonic’s original platform, the Sega Genesis. Sonic uses rings while Jim Carrey’s Dr.Robotnik uses Badniks, and to top it all off we get to see a 16-bit recap of the entire film. And the biggest easter egg of all?
