Let’s face it, the MCU is pretty freakin’ close to perfect. The series launched off with the game-changing Iron Man and finished off the Infinity Saga with Avengers: Endgame, the most successful film of all time. With that much success it’s easy to forget some of the crazy mistakes the franchise has made along the way. No extended cinematic universe is flawless but some of these mistakes are pretty crazy. We’ve assembled some of the best of the worst from across the MCU that show that even the best heroes in the universe can screw up now and then.

We’ll go through some questionable decisions that either started in the writer’s room or were just foolish decisions by a character. Some of these are fairly minor mistakes. These are small continuity errors or lore contradictions that are easy to forgive and forget. It’s no big deal if a set-up or character is forgotten as long as the series stays amazing. Then there are the major mistakes where characters ignore information they should clearly have that could’ve saved people's lives.

Of course then there are the mistakes that happened because of behind-the-scenes drama. Some of these choices cause huge segments of the MCU to be completely ignored by the other simply because of disagreements between certain parties. You would think that the powers that be behind the biggest franchise of all time would get along better.

So let’s not waste any time! Here are all the greatest mistakes in the MCU!
