2011 Game Recap: Barnegat Junior K Pat Moran drilled a 32-Yard FG w/ 8 Minutes left in the Game in Sloppy Game Conditions (Raining all Game) to give Barnegat a comeback Win 16-14 on the road. Barnegat was 0-2 coming into the Game & was down 14-7 @ Halftime trying to comeback in a steady Rain in the 2nd Half Offensively, Senior QB Mark McCoy came up Big Passing for 130 Yards & 2 TD's, (8-Yard TD Pass to Senior WR Jordan Salt & 49-Yard TD Pass to Junior WR Pat Moran). Defensively, Senior LB Matt Schofield played a great all-around game & had to step up on Offense @ RB in the 2nd Half (58 Yards Rushing) because of a David Smithman Injury. Senior RB David Smithman ran for 82 Yards in the 1st Half before leaving the Game @ Halftime. This was a key Game for the 2011 Barnegat Football Team & got them on their Winning ways which helped them end the Season w/ a 7-4 Record, Winning the B-South Championship & Qualifying for the South Jersey Group 2 State Playoffs.
