RULES FOR RTTC GREATEST ALBUMS LIST:
Post your Top 50 list in order from what you think is the greatest album ever down to the 50th greatest (scoring is weighed to prevent ties and detailed below). This list is for what you think are the GREATEST albums ever. Music is obviously subjective, so there is no right or wrong list!

-A max of 3 albums from an artist. This encourages diversity of artists, while also allowing some of the all-time greats to receive votes for multiple albums they made.

-No albums from the past 5 years or earlier (2015 is the latest year an album could appear on the list)

-Only 1 live record can appear on your list

-No Greatest Hits, Soundtracks, or Compilations. The only exception would be for artists who came along prior to albums being the main form of music consumption.

SCORING (Thanks to Brian for the tiering idea):
#1-3 - 10 points
#4-10 - 8 points
#11-20 - 5 points
#21-30 - 3 points
#31-40 - 2 points
#41-50 - 1 point
In the case of ties we will look at appearances in the top 3, then the top 10. After all the lists are submitted we will tally up the scores and the 50 highest scoring records will make our list!

DEADLINE is JANUARY 1st! This gives time for people to not only do their lists, but also listen to some all time classics they haven’t heard yet.
