After a month of new confirmed cases and deaths from COVID-19 in Georgia trending upward, Dr. Carlos del Rio with Emory University on Friday sounded optimistic.
"We know that the total number of cases is stabilizing because the number of hospital admissions isn't going up as fast as we thought it was going to and the number of ICU admissions isn't going up as fast as we thought it was going to," del Rio said during a discussion with reporters.
