The stock market and global markets reacted to China's intervention sending mostly all markets up today besides the Shanghai composite. With those moves being seen as positive but all other factors like oil and commodities dropping, the world is waiting for China to see if this response was sufficient enough to stop panic and selling of stocks. I go over what this means and what to look for, as well as why the price of oil dropping is so important to markets now as it relates to global demand and how that can help us analyze stocks and future prices. Then I cover the various trades we made today, specifically the iron condor we made playing Alphabet earnings. Given we expected Google stock to not move as much as it appeared the market was pricing in the move prior, we decided to go with a neutral strategy. Besides that I go over the other top stocks in my portfolio and the hot stocks for the rest of the month! It is going to be wild and there is a lot going on so I hope your head is in the game!!!
