2019 HIGHLIGHTS (THE BEST YEAR YET!) | Kryz Uy

Can you all believe that it's the start of a new decade? It's crazy how fast time flies. 10 years ago, i was a student expecting to work a fashion job at a corporate firm. I never expected that this is where I'd be today. In fact, so many things have happened last year alone that have made this year truly special and life-changing.

I got married to the love of my life, traveled the world with him, became part of a new family, built our home together- and now I'm at the start of my motherhood journey. So many milestones in just a year alone. It’s crazy.

A few years ago, I thought I wasn't ready for all these things to happen.
But I guess when it’s meant for you, it just feels right and you just know everything is going to be okay. I am deeply humbled and grateful for everything that happened to me so far - the good ones and especially the bad ones. Life isn’t always insta-perfect but it’s the challenges that make the special moments even more beautiful. This year, life has taught me to be calm, accepting and thankful.

I’m thankful for the gift of family, first and foremost. Two families who have shown nothing but love and support for Slater and I throughout our lives. I’m thankful for Slater- and everything he is and does for me. He is my biggest blessing this year and I’m looking forward to starting our lives together with our growing family. Most of all, I’m thankful for finding peace and contentment.

I hope you've all had the chance to look back and reflect on all the moments that have made the past year meaningful and unforgettable. You are all a big part of my 2019 and I hope in the next year, or the coming decade even, we will shine even brighter and be better together - cheers!
