Much debate has been had regarding how zombies spawn in 7 Days to Die, be it Alpha 18 or earlier.

And ... how do they spawn? Do they spawn anywhere? Do they spawn on player placed blocks? What blocks their spawns?

I put it to the test!

✔️ Spawns on Concrete!
✔️ Spawns on Top soil and Dirt
✔️ Spawn on Wood frames!
✔️ Spawn on water?

I walk through various spawns,

✔️ Biome
✔️ Wandering Horde
✔️ Screamer
✔️ Screamer Horde
✔️ Blood Moon Horde

The results are very interesting, and really should help guide you with base building!
