Age of Empires 2 Top 5 Plays | Ep. 16 | 2 February 2020

Top 5 Plays is back! New year, new civ changes, new plays. I was planning a return video with everything coming this year (I even recorded the audio), but the new Blender intro animation took up all of my free time last week. So Here is what is in store in text version:

Hi guys. I'm back from a break and wanted to give you a sneak peak at what's to come in the next year.

First off, I'm sure you've noticed the new intro cutscene for the new year. Let me know in the comments what you think of it. I also just hit 50 followers on Twitch, so I'm close to hitting affiliate. I'll be streaming on Wednesday and Thursday nights with a few weekend sessions thrown in. I have some emote ideas planned for when I hit affiliate and am happy to take suggestions as well.

I have a bit of catchup to do as well as I transition from Voobly to Definitive Edition. I have the last few games of the showmatch between ilovebaskets and Gloriaz to upload, and I'll be cocasting my Rice Cup tournament game against K1 on SolTou's stream this weekend.

As I continue to play more DE games, I've finally figured out how to shift-queue properly and I'll have a video on how to do it and when it's worth it. And with the new map pool in DE, I'll be starting a series going over the strategies and strongest civilizations for each of the maps. And last but not least, the Age of Empires 2, top 5 plays of the week will be coming back starting this weekend. My plan is to keep producing one video each week, and then having a montage of each player featured at the end of the year.
