AJ Lee, real name AJ Mendez Brooks, was the most popular wwe superstar in her era. The 32 year old former wwe champion first came into the wwe scene as AJ Lee. Short after that AJ began to enter a lot of relationships for wwe television from Daniel Bryan, to Kane, to John Cena, to Dolph Ziggler, to AJ’s actual real life husband, CM Punk. However, there was another wwe relationship and love interest for the AJ Lee character that never made it onto Monday night raw and that was AEW’s Jon Moxley (Dean Ambrose). A former WWE Creative writer revealed that an early story concept had AJ Lee and Jon Moxley getting into a relationship after they meant each other at a clinic. AJ Lee would return to the wwe bringing along her new boyfriend Jon Moxley into the mix. Unfortunately that story was scrapped and we never got to see what a paring AJ Lee and Jon Moxley would’ve been. Jon Moxley went onto debut in the shield as Dean Ambrose and AJ Lee ended up being paired with Dolph Ziggler towards the last few years of her wwe career.
