America's Most Beautiful Roadsters GNRS 2020 4K
Description
The black and orange and red flamed (modern-style) 1932 Ford roadster belonging to Monty Belsham (Canada, one of two cars from outside the U.S.) is a one of 10 (#4) Muroc highboy roadster bodies that came out of Kugel Komponents and was stripped down to every last nut and bolt and crafted and assembled back together to give us what we now see by Doug Jerger of Squeeg's Kustoms out of Chandler, Arizona. While Doug watched over the entire build at his shop, a local metal man named Matt Tom built the removable aluminum top with the chrome trim running around the top opening. Power for the roadster comes by way of an LS topped off with Hilborn EFI stacked injection. The chassis came out of the Kugel Komponents shop and features their proprietary IFS and IRS with Corvette brakes fore and aft. The wheels are one-offs wrapped with Dunlap rubber. The interior was stitched from the ground up by Gabe Lopez at Gabe's Street Rods Custom Interiors who also fit Monty to the car so that he can sit in comfort and continue to rack up the miles. Other interior appointments include the Dakota Digital analog gauges with a hint of digital touches.
Soundtrack... Apache by the "Tielman Brothers"
