We are changing the frequency of the Exclusive events. The events will now run on a weekly basis and last two days.

WELCOME TO GRAND PRIX

Welcome to Asphalt 9: Legends Grand Prix, the brand-new special event, that introduces a fresh and challenging experience to the game!

In Grand Prix you will compete against other players in a series of races against a small group of players to earn the incredible Techrules AT96!

This competition really is anyone’s game! Enter this new Special Event starting in February and compete in a series of races against a small group of players, beat those players to earn the incredible new TechRules AT96!

Structure

In Grand Prix there are two phases of the event: Qualification Rounds and Final Rounds:

I. Qualification Rounds

Make sure to play practice in order to unlock the Qualifiers (Q1, Q2, and Q3) and earn rewards.


Please note that that rewards or race objectives are subject to change, as screenshots are taken from the event while it was still in the development.

Everyone would be placed in a group of up to 20 players, and will have 3 attempts to score the best time and stay in TOP 10 to get access to the Final Rounds.

Hint: In practice you will have the same track as in qualification, so make sure to play practice and learn the best route before spending your limited attempts.

If you have failed to stay in the TOP 10 you will have another chance in the Q2 and then in Q3 rounds. If you failed or missed all Q1, Q2, and Q3 you would still be given a time-limited chance to pay an entry fee with Tokens and get access to the Final Rounds.

Those who have already qualified won't need to play other qualification rounds and will need to wait while all qualification rounds are over. Meanwhile you can still play the practice mode and earn rewards there.

Important: If you have not qualified nor paid the entry fee in time, you won't be able to continue playing in the current Grand Prix. Therefore Grand Prix final round rewards will be not achievable.

II. Final Rounds

All the players that make their way to the Final Rounds, will be put into groups of up to 20 players. All the Final Rounds participants will receive rewards, but only the best will get the top prizes.

The battle for these prizes will be split in 5 rounds; earn up to 50 points per round. The higher your position, the more points you earn.



In case of a draw, the following rules apply:

Players with the same score will be sorted by best time in qualifiers;

Players that qualified by paying a token fee will always be under players with a recorded qualification time;

Players with the same qualification time will share the same position.

New feature: Ghost

In the Grand Prix events, once you've used at least one attempt and were placed in the leaderboard, in next attempts, and in practice mode, you will see the ghost of another player:

If you are not currently qualified, you will see the ghost of the player you need to beat to qualify.

If you are already qualified or playing in the Final Rounds, you will see the ghost of players from the leaderboard above you,

If you're a TOP1, you will see your own best race ghost.
