Tiger Shroff has THIS to say about the effect of coronavirus lockdown on box-office collection of ‘Baaghi 3’

 impressed one and all with his third instalment of his popular ‘Baaghi’ franchise. The movie, that also starred 

Shraddha Kapoor

 in the lead, reportedly became the highest one-day earner of the year so far at the box-office. However, the film couldn’t earn any more due to the coronavirus 

lockdown

. 

Speaking about the same to a news portal, Tiger reportedly said that he feels blessed and grateful that the film was accepted and loved by the masses and audiences. He also added that considering that everybody was and were still going through a world crisis, audiences came out in large numbers until the theatres shut down, got him overwhelmed. However, he also stated that at that point, for him the safety of our citizens was my primary thought. He couldn’t think or process anything of the film’s box-office because the virus was spreading all over and the film in his head it had already taken a back seat as it was important that people stayed indoors and were safe. 

Elaborating further, he added that he is half disappointed because their labour of hard work couldn’t reach its potential. However, he is satisfied because the bigger picture is the safety of our people and the government has made amazing decisions to follow that through. He added that they might re- release the movie when the situation settles.


Meanwhile, on the work front, Tiger will next be seen in the second instalment of his debut Bollywood film, ‘

Heropanti

’. Other details and cast of the film are yet to be unveiled.
