Badshah's new rap in 'Genda Phool' featuring Jaqueline Fernandez and Payal Dev is suspected of stealing an old Bangla Folk artist's work titled 'Boro Loker Beti Lo'. As per Ratna Kahar's claims, the song was composed by him in 1972 and the rights to the songs were forcefully acquired by the market.

Badshah was heavily trolled on social media after his new song 'Genda Phool' because he has separated a beautiful folk song in memory of Bengal from its context and put it into such a song that has broken the boundaries of linguistic violence. But most of all, Badshah has been rebuffed that the artist who gave the actual lyrics, Ratan Kahar, has not been given any credit. Watch the video for more details.
