Bears Rumors: 10 Players Chicago Can Target In Round 2 Of The NFL Draft Ft Cesar Ruiz & Trevon Diggs

Chicago Bears Rumors are swirling with the NFL Draft just 3 weeks away. The Bears don’t have a 1st round pick, but do have two 2nd round picks at #43 & #50 overall. With Chicago still having needs at Offensive Line, Cornerback and Safety, Bears Now host Harrison Graham goes through the Top 10 Players the Bears should target in Round 2 of the 2020 NFL Draft.

The Bears’ biggest need remains at OL and more specifically interior offensive line. Michigan OL Cesar Ruiz would be a dream target for the Bears if he fell to the 43rd pick. If he doesn’t, LSU OL Lloyd Cushenberry or Temple OL Matt Hennessy would be worthy Round 2 draft picks.

Wide Receiver isn’t a major need for the Bears, but the 2020 NFL Draft class is loaded with WR talent. If Tee Higgins & Jalen Reagor are available in Round 2, both would be worthy selections for Chicago. The Bears still need to replace Prince Amukamara at CB and there’s some Day 2 prospects that could make sense for Chicago. A.J. Terrell, Damon Arnette & Trevon Diggs would all be solid additions.

Ha Ha Clinton-Dix signed with the Cowboys in NFL Free Agency, leaving a vacancy at strong safety for the Bears. Could Chicago gamble on Jeremy Chinn who offers a ton of athleticism and playmaking ability? The risk is the fact Chinn played at the FCS-level for Southern Illinois. If Chicago wants a more proven safety from a Power 5 school, how about Antoine Winfield Jr. out of Minnesota?
