Meet Danielle Flynn, who is one of our current BEng Applied Engineering degree apprentices.
Our Applied Engineering Programme (AEP) allows you to gain a BEng degree while working full-time.
This course will develop you as a multi-disciplinary engineer, giving you a wide scope of career paths to follow. You will learn the fundamentals of engineering and technology including mechanical engineering, electrical and electronic engineering, materials and design. You will also develop knowledge and skills in business operations, innovation and cross-organisation efficiency.
The applied nature of this course means you will complete work-based assignments and projects throughout, meaning you will gain a real understanding of the principles taught and benefits to businesses.
This course also allows you to select options in the final two years so you can choose a specialist pathway that suits your career objectives and the needs of your company. Our streams are Applied Engineering, Business, Manufacturing, and Product Creation.
