Brainware University | Rural Development Projects Under Unnat Bharat Abhiyan

Unnat Bharat Abhiyan is a flagship program of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD ), Govt. of India.
Unnat Bharat Abhiyan is inspired by the vision of transformational change in rural development processes by leveraging knowledge institutions to help build the architecture of an Inclusive India.
As an initiative to empower and develop Indian villages, Brainware University (Id: U-0846) has proudly joined Unnat Bharat Abhiyan in November, 2017 and adopted five nearby villages. The Faculty members and students of Brainware University have conducted the overall village and domestic surveys during January, 2018 in those adopted villages, followed by holding meetings with the self-help group members of those villages. Based on the results of survey and discussions with self-help group members, a bunch of developmental programs were submitted to UBA on February, 2019. In the month of August, 2019, we have received fund for ‘Hybrid Mushroom Cultivation Technology’ and ‘Rain-water Harvesting Technology’.
Right now, Brainware University is actively working in the implementation of ‘Hybrid Mushroom Cultivation Technology’ under the category of Sustainable Agriculture and also working in ‘Rain water Harvesting Technology’ under the category of Water Resource Management in the adopted villages under the able guidance of Dr. Pijush Mallick.
