After decades of attempts, the US government just sealed the deal with Iran as Iran's top military commander has been killed by the US government at the Baghdad airport.

From the military coup of the 1950s to the hostage crisis. From arming and funding "rebel" groups to attempting to wage war on Iran via Iraqi proxies. From the Gulf of Oman attack to the recent embassy takeover which followed the US strike on 25 Iran backed militants in Iraq, Trump has just ordered the assasination of Qassem Soleimani. This will likely dramatically escalate the crisis between the countries and cause major concerns world wide for coalition forces. Essentially, Trump just declared war on Iran.
As stabilization became more apparent in the ravaged region, leave it to America to destroy any hope at peace. This could lead to millions of casualties as we saw in Iraq less than twenty years ago.
