For the past several decades, a progressive farmer in Banda district of UP's Bundelkhand, who has been suffering from drought, has become an example for the people by growing saffron, a valuable crop. The crop needs irrigation in 10 to 15 days. The crop can be planted at a distance of 5 to 10 cm. If we sow with bunting, the crop can be better. Dry in the shade when the crop is flowering and can be sold in a briefcase or bag.
