The Covid-19 epidemic has had a huge impact on tourism in Cambodia. Government figures show that the number of tourists arriving from abroad dropped by more than 60 per cent in February 2020. Despite only two Covid-19 cases being confirmed in the country as of March 10, fears about the deadly coronavirus that causes the disease have nearly emptied the kingdom’s top tourist attraction, Angkor Wat.
