During the March Cardano 360 virtual conference, Charles Hoskinson indicated that the Alonzo Testnet would launch at the end of April or in early May. This will allow people to write smart contacts and deploy them on Cardano for the first time ever.

Cardano is negotiating with top 10 NFT marketplaces, regarding porting them over to Cardano.

Charles Hoskinson stated that it's easy to clone the protocols and partner with NFT marketplaces. Cardano is working on scaling up the necessary capacity for NFT marketplaces to operate seamlessly along with other protocols, including decentralized exchanges as well.

Cardano partnered with COTI back in 2019 to create the first version of ADA Pay, which comes with a full suite of a Payment gateway, Donations gateway and a Merchant back office CRM.

With native assets on top of Shelley Mainnet, there’s a huge opportunity in developing ADA Pay for Shelley Mainnet.
