Catch and Cook Cast Iron skillet Fried Crappie on the bank

We met up with Steven from Jignpigs99 to wade Doe creek in Indiana. After excessive rain and severe flooding, the creek had been over taken by sediment. As we struggled to wade through the sand and muck we finally found a hard bottom and decent crappie action. Afterwards we took 4 crappie back to the intro point, lit the grill, filleted the fish, and fried them in an iron skillet over hot coals. Calvin used Zatarans fish batter with an egg wash. We had a great time bringing along with us Steven and most of the Freeks and Geeks Creations gang, on a catch and cook trip.
