Catching Live Bait then Catching Big Fish from the Bank!

Catching live bait can then lead to catching Big Fish from the bank. When the fish are feeding on baitfish, they can be caught on a combination of live bait and an artificial lure. A lipless crankbait with a live shad on the hook can often draw a bite while sitting on the bottom. It looks like two wounded or dead shad laying on the bottom. Moving it ever so slightly can trigger a bite from a big fish like a drum or a white bass. Maybe even something bigger if they are present. If you are fishing near live bait, catching some might lead to catching big fish, even from the bank.
