Today we review a mechanical dive inspired watch from Citizen! It came out in the same time as the eco drive version of the updated NY0040 which gave Citizen the perfect opportunity to make this a mechanical part of their dive watch offerings, but sadly they did the same thing Seiko did with the new Seiko 5 SKX models recently, they just made it LOOK like a diver while it is in fact a regular sports watch, lacking the screw in crown, lumed bezel pip and other traits we are used to seeing on real dive watches.
Despite the missed opportunity, the watch is striking in person and I really like it a lot.
