This racing bar chart visualization represents the data from the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) for the highest 15 affected countries.

The European CDC publishes daily statistics on the COVID-19 pandemic. Not just for Europe, but for the entire world.

The ECDC makes all their data available in a daily and reflects data collected up to 6:00 and 10:00 CET.

In an ongoing outbreak the final outcomes – death or recovery – for all cases is not yet known. The time from symptom onset to death ranges from 2 to 8 weeks for COVID-19.1 This means that some people who are currently infected with COVID-19 will die at a later date.
