Coronavirus in India: Due to coronavirus, the Uttar Pradesh government has decided to abolish six types of allowances for government employees. An order in this regard was issued on May 12 and the decision has shocked around 16 lakh employees. The UP government has taken this decision to avoid the crisis of shortage in the treasury. Earlier on April 24, the government had postponed the six allowances till March 31, 2021.
In a way, the UP Government has suspended 6 types of allowances to employees, pensioners for the period between Jan 2020 to March 31, 2021. The government officials are not happy with the latest decision taken by Chief Minister Yogi Aadityanath. Watch the video for more details.
