Coronavirus is Devastating the Korean Economy

The coronavirus, known now as Corvid-19, is spreading rapidly across the globe with no end in sight. However, it's not just the immediate health effects that we should worry about.

In South Korea, the economy is getting hit hard by this virus. Tourism, manufacturing, education, and so many other areas are being effected by this outbreak. Why is this happening? And is there anything we can do about it?

I'm not an economic expert, but I will share some of my observations as someone who has lived in South Korea for 10 years.
