Coronavirus outbreak: Local report says disinfecting system in China cleans workers in 20 seconds

On Wednesday, the China News Service reported that a company in Chongqing, China built two sterilizing systems to spray workers at an industrial complex with disinfectant before they start work. The tunnel is equipped with infrared detectors that activate a spray from misters when a person enters, and can take 10 to 20 seconds to spray the person, the report said.

China reported on Wednesday its smallest number of new COVID-19 cases since January, lending weight to a prediction by its top medical adviser for the outbreak to end by April, but a global diseases expert warned of the spread elsewhere in the world.
