Coronavirus outbreak: U.S. health official tells Congress that epidemic "will get worse" | FULL

The U.S. House Oversight Committee held a hearing on COVID-19 preparedness and response where Dr. Anthony Fauci of the U.S. National Institutes of Health and CDC Director Redfield testified.

Dr. Fauci agreed during his testimony that the worst is yet to come, saying when the coronavirus outbreak sees cases of community spread, it is much harder to contain it.

He also told Congress "we will see more cases" of coronavirus as governors across the nation warned stronger measures may be needed to contain the epidemic.
