Coronavirus: Robots wage a war against outbreak in hospitals
Description
Robots join in the battle against the deadly coronavirus outbreak in China.
By helping medical staff in the infectious environment, the amount of doctor-patient contact with coronavirus-infected patients can be reduced.
Robots carry out tasks such as disinfection, taking temperatures, delivering food and medicine, relieving the hospitals’ staff amid the outbreak and reducing the risk of infection.
Automatic disinfection and purification can be done inside the robot’s carrying case. But its outside shell must be disinfected by humans and they do require maintenance.
