A second person has died from coronavirus in the UK. He was an elderly man with underlying health conditions. The number of people now infected with coronavirus in the UK has risen again to 164, up from 116 yesterday. It’s the biggest UK increase in a single day so far.
Around the world, there are now more than 100,000 cases. Of those, more than half - almost 56,000 people - have recovered. But more than 3,400 have died.
Meanwhile, more than 3,500 people are being held in quarantine on a cruise ship off the coast of San Francisco, after a 71-year-old passenger died of the coronavirus.
