Covid-19 | Biggest single day jump; Tripura becomes virus-free: Top 10 updates

As Covid-19 cases in India crossed 23,000, Hindustan Times brings you latest updates on the pandemic. India on Friday recorded biggest single day spike in COvid-19 cases with 1,752 fresh cases. The doubling rate however improved to 10 days from 7.5 reported earlier. Meanwhile, Centre rushed four new IMCT teams to Ahmadabad, Surat, Hyderabad and Chennai. Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb said the state has become Covid-19 free as the 2nd case had tested negative. Tripura became the third Indian state after Goa and Manipur to become Covid free.
