Have you ever wandered along the streets of a city and come across a world of amazing graffiti?
There is something somewhat magical about the hidden treasures you spot on your travels. Art
surrounds us every day and graffiti in particular, has a hint of mystery which allows you to create
your own impression and story behind the masterpiece. Here, we have gathered some of the best
graffiti and murals in the world.
Stockholm Metro Station
Unofficially known as the „world’s longest art gallery“, the metro station has some exciting
paintings. The first underground painting was painted in the 1970s. The colorful rugged surface
of the walls and ceiling give a surreal impression of flaming space. 90 of 100 stations exhibit
paintings of almost 150 artists. The initial goal was to bring art to the public by using the public
space. The idea worked out very well and today this might be the most popular metro station in
the world.

Nobody Likes Me
In this amazing and mesmerizing art, a boy holds a mobile phone, his face contorted with the
agonizing discovery that nobody has liked his latest Instagram post. At a time where we are
permanently connected, we are simultaneously permanently disconnected from each other. Iheart
is an artist who explores this toxic need for validation, and how Instagram likes have become a
crucial means for measuring self-worth. Does this make reevaluate your life?
David
This colorful portrait of David is the work of Eduardo Kobra, a Brazilian street artist from the
south side of São Paulo. The design is printed directly onto the marble at a quarry in Carrara,
Italy, where Michelangelo and other artists found the marble used in their sculptures. Kobra has
been a graffiti artist since he was a teenager, and in 2016 his mural for the Rio Olympics scored
him a record for world's biggest mural – a record he's since broken.
Make Art Not War
Make Art Not War, addresses not only the carnage of war, but the play on words reveals the only
sentiment powerful enough to cease fire; love. Undoubtedly one of the most influential street
artists, Shepard Fairey is also an illustrator, graphic designer, and political activist. Fairey’s art is
a weapon against injustice, oppression, and violence; allowing him to challenge socio-political
inequalities through his large-scale murals.

700 Wall
In this amazing piece, German artist, Claudia Walde, combines her formal artistic training with
street art, rewriting contemporary urban art. Simply entitled 700 Wall, it refers to the 700 square
meters her masterpiece covers and can be seen on the train line between Berlin and Halle.
Swelling colors and graphic scenes ripple across the surface of MadC’s mural, and is symbolic of
the artist’s capability to combine a scrupulous, academic approach, with an uncontrolled visual
lyricism. There is so much going on in this art, it might take hours to interpret it. We will leave it
to you to explain what it means in the comments.
Cryptik
This eastern theme masterpiece was designed by a Los Angeles-based artist who goes by the
name of Cryptik. He is notable for his calligraphic approach to street art. Much of his work is
based on ancient sacred texts and eastern philosophy, with echoes of the intricate geometric
patterns found in Muslim art and architecture. It's all rendered with an unmistakable street art
twist, making for a perfect blend of ancient and modern.

Street Art in Norway
With kids, it doesn’t matter what life throws at them, they have fun with it. Adults are more
pragmatic, which explains the visibly irritated man warding off these stripes of color with his
black umbrella in this adorable, simple yet brilliant masterpiece.

ROA Street Art in London
Mythical creatures are an artist’s forte. This piece shows talent on the back wall of an apartment
in London. The art pops out of its “canvas” because of the masterful use of shading, and clever
use of space to give that 3D effect. we wonder what some drunk would feel about this?
Wonders of nature
Painted in New South Wales by color enthusiast and environmentalist Scott Nagy, this
mesmerizing piece captures the wonder of nature, with the girl captivated by the creatures
surrounding her – so much so that she becomes part of the scene. The more you look at it, the
more there is to see, with the color palette drawing you in.
