In this video Today I will tell you about Darjeeling of West Bengal. Those who come to Darjeeling in West Bengal should travel 10 travelling spots.
10. Batasia Loop:-Batasia Loop. It is located on the top of hill. It is open from all side. Various flowering plants have been planted. There are also different types of trees. It is build in memory of the soldier who died in the life of freedom. You will be able to see Kanchenjunga from here. It is located on the roadside of Ghum. You will love the place .
9. Japanese Peace Pagoda:-Very beautiful Japanese Temple located in 10 minutes away from Darjeeling city center. It was built in 1972. Peace Pagoda near the temple where one can see up to four incarnations of Lord Buddha. Kanchenjunga can also be seen from here.
8. Rock Garden:-The Indian state of West Bengal has a special attraction for lodging towns, Chunnu Summer Falls and the Ganga Maya Rock garden. The waterfalls and you will feel beautiful all around.
7. Tiger Hill:-Tiger Hill is the great attraction for all those who like to roam. The time of sunrise in the morning when you see Kanchenjunga is very beautiful from a distance. All tourists are eager to see the perfect sunrise. Sunrise is seen only when there is no fog.
6. Ropeway:-The Darjeeling Ropeway is located in the city of Darjeeling. This is the middle position of Darjeeling and Singhola cities on the bank of Raman River.
5. Tea Garden:-Darjeeling tea is very popular all over the world. The green tea garden is special attraction for the tourist. Government of India earns a lot of foreign exchange by exporting tea here.
4. Mahakal Mandir:-Mahakal Mandir is a Buddha Vihara. Mahakal Mandir is a few minutes’ walk from Darjeeling crossroads. The deity worshiped here is lord Shiva. Here shivaratri celebrated with pomp.
3. Ghum Station:-A special attraction for tourists is the Ghum Station .Ghum station is the highest station in India. It is height is 2257 meters.
2. Mirik:-A special attraction for tourist is the Mirik. The distance from Darjeeling Mall to Mirik is 71 kilometers. In 1974, the then chief minister of West Bengal, Siddharth Shankar Roy started work to convert in to a tourist destination. After that chief minister Jyoti Basu inaugurated in 1979.
1. Mall or Chowrasta:- Mall or Chowrasta is the heart of Darjeeling. If you want to travel to Darjeeling then you should go in the Mall or Chowrasta. Your journey will not be complete until you go in the Mall. This is just on the top of Nehru road. The Mall is beautiful place which surrounded by pine trees. There also various stationery stores from where you can by things of your choice.
