Deposed Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II goes to Court

The deposed emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, said he will challenge the legality of his banishment and detention by the
Kano state government.

His lawyer, Abubakar Mahmud, said the move is unconstitutional, threatening to take legal action if the state's authorities fail to release him within twenty four hours.
