The new artwork and signage for Minions 2 was spotted by Collider’s own Steve Weintraub. The new artwork features the Minions 2 logo accompanied by a poster that is just a whole buncha Minions squished together inside one picture. There’s a lot going on in said picture, with each Minion doing something completely goofy so as to remain eye-catching. Another bit of artwork we got a good photo of was a yellow-and-white spiral pattern with the same Minions 2 logo.

The next Minions movie is set to hit theaters in summer 2020. It’s been five years since the first film, so it will be interesting to see if the beloved franchise still has legs with its younger demographic. Minions 2: The Rise of Gru will follow the continuing adventures of the Minions as they are in search of a new leader; who wants to be it’s Gru?

Artificial light influences the behavior of many nocturnal animals such as bats, which are very sensitive to all types of lighting. Particularly critical is the illumination of natural caves in which bats roost. Cave illumination is widespread in tourist areas worldwide and disturbs the animals in their resting places. Researchers of the Leibniz Institute for Zoo and Wildlife Research (Leibniz-IZW) and the Max Planck Institute for Ornithology (MPIO) have now investigated how the illumination of bat caves affects the animals' behavior and whether the color of light makes a difference on their flight and emergence activity. Although red light irritates the small mammals somewhat less than white light, from the researchers' point of view neither the entrance nor the interior of bat caves should be illuminated if bats are present. The results are published in the journal "Global Ecology and Conservation."

There is no mega-event next year in the vein of Avengers: Endgame or Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, and Avatar 2 doesn’t arrive until 2021. Still, next year has new entries in established franchises, hotly anticipated sequels, the start of the MCU’s Phase 4, a strong animation slate and lots of original films with obvious box office potential. Plus, you never know when an international movie like Ne Zha or Wolf Warrior 2 will break out and wind up in the top 10 without ever really playing domestically.
