Born in Wyoming but raised in Oregon, Tyler Stenson is an 'Elegant Folk' singer/songwriter from Portland (OR), drawing comparison to songwriter greats such as Cat Stevens, James Taylor and Ryan Adams. Stenson has opened for LeAnn Rimes, Chris Isaak, John Popper, Marc Cohn, Matisyahu and more and his music has been heard on SiriusXM’s “The Coffee House” station, multiple Chevrolet commercials and several popular television series. As a multi-song finalist in the International Songwriting Competition (ISC) demonstrates, Stenson has proven he’s not just another ‘guy and his guitar’ — his foundational belief that ‘lyric is king’ sets him apart as a true artist worth getting to know.
