The Dogo Argentino is very well muscled, large and athletic dog breed with average height between 60-68 cms, which is 24-27 inches and weight between 40-45 kgs, which is 88-97 pounds. The females naturally are little bit smaller than males.

The Dogo Argentino is highly active breed which requieres a lot of physical and mental stimulation, otherwise, they will become bored and desctructive. Daily longer walks or jogs are must if you want to have a happy and healthy Dogo in your home. It is better if they have access to a yard where they can romp out their energy.
