Sometimes things don't go as planned… well, actually MOST of the time they don't go as planned. We had the opportunity to spend a harsh New England winter day with Bassett as he hunted for spots and battled the intangibles. He greeted every curveball with a smile; even when it's a bust, Bassett will find a way to salvage the mission. These are our Field Notes.
