Edinburgh's Camera Obscura and World of Illusions, Edinburgh, Scotland
Description
I didn't have much time this week, so here's a wee video we made last year of Edinburgh's Camera Obscura & World of Illusions. The Camera Obscura is located on Castlehill at the top of the Royal Mile and is open all year round. The Camera Obscura is the place to go for the most wonderful views of the city, all the way to Fife, eye-popping illusions, optical tricks and 3D holograms that's great fun for the whole family. Don't forget to see the Camera Obscura itself which was built over 150 years ago. Your ticket gives you all day access and is open late until 10pm in the summer, which is a great time to go for spectacular night-time views of the city.
FREE - ROYAL MILE HIDDEN GEMS TOUR FOR 2020
After several requests, I'm delighted to announce I'll be doing free tours of the Royal Mile and all its hidden gems every Wednesday at 1pm, meeting outside the Camera Obscura. The tours will be light-hearted, fun and informative and I hope to show you the secret places most visitors miss. The tours will last 3 hours and if you'd like to book a place you can do so on my website at https://www.davidwheater.co.uk/free-tour-edinburghs-royal-mile
